Less than 4 hours until we need to start uploading! We're really, really excited now, mainly because of this event is coming to an end(and maybe because we're getting more pizza soon...). Nevertheless, we've really progressed greatly, this event has been insanely much fun!

There's a few more 3D models that our artists made, we're very proud of them! :) During the last night we had quite a lot of fun, we got a visit from the KAJAKMIES, who protects the weak and tired game developers and gives us energy with his mighty pizza powers!

Nobody knows who this saviour of ours is, we can only keep guessing...

Inspired by that KAJAKMIES, we too decided to become superheroes, of course, children always have to look up to superheroes and try to save the world themselves..

We're half way there! Now there's about 24 hours still left for us to finish the game! Luckily our team hasn't showed any signs of weakness so far... :D Anyways, we're progressing really well, and I think that we can really make it, at least I'm really hoping, because our game will be great :)

There's our motivational screen, we've got a few motivating gifs there, Mario and Luigi are dancing and jamming to our music, the octopus that's hitting around the desk is to remind us what happens when we ask graphic artists to code :D Never ask an artist to code... And the cat in the corner.. I seriously don't know what for it is there.. It creeps us out, but our artist thought it was motivating or stuff.. :D

Here, have some early sketches of the characters in our game, our artists just finished the 3D character models, so we're doing quite well! :)

And then todays highlight: Second pizza! People are lining up happily and waiting for what they deserve.. :D

Quickly running back to our caves to hide from other humans! We have the pizza, everybody retreat!

Pizza makes people smile:)

So that's what's up right now, I'll keep on updating what our games looks like after a few more hours, or at least when we get the next pizzas in 20 hours or so! So keep it up jammers, we're halfway there!

Good morning (Hello) world! After some sleep, we're ready to jam again! Now the theme has been announced, and we all can talk about it publicly:))

Our team has a superduper good idea. and we are insanely excited to make it. Here's what our graphic artists have been doing until now, both of them have very little experience with 3D modelling, but they've done an amazing work so far!

I'll link our graphic artists portfolio, go check it out, she's very talented! :)

I'll also link some videos from last years Global Game Jam, here at Kajaanis site we were having insanely much fun, hopefully this year will be as much fun!!

There's some pics of our site, some people are a little brain-dead for staying up a little too late, but I bet that everybody will have a great time!

Delicious Jam made out of games (and pizzas now)

And here we have glorious programmers and other game developers waiting for glorious pizza gloriously. All of us have crawled out of our programming caves and dared to show our pale faces in order to get some pizza.. Kind of. :)

Pizza was very good, now it's just 17 hours, 42 minutes and few more seconds to the next one, yeah, we've got a countdown for that too.. It's great though. We've got some ideas going on already, and our artists have a lot of work to do.. As a sound designers I too got some.. Let's say interesting sounds that I have got to make... 

Also, our game designer/producer decided to update our jobs in Trello... He's got some interesting things to do himself ;)

I think I might join him to look for some cat gifs and/or videos at some point. :P

In the end, I'll post some more pizza pics, because pizza is good. Free pizza is even better ;)

So it is this time of the year again, the Global Game Jam. Me and my team are jamming in Finland, at Kajaani's site. We reside at the KUAS, Kajaani's university of applied sciences, so we're spending the weekend at school. :P  Our team consists of two coders, two graphic artists, one game-designer and me, social media/audio man or a woman :)

Half of our team. We've got streams running here from a few classrooms, I'll give you the links, so you too may join the fun :P In half an hour we'll get our first pizzas, thanks a bunch Frozenbyte and Supercell!

Nevertheless, I'll keep this blog updated on the stuff we and our site is making, so stay tuned!
